Maelicum Conciertos. Vive Vivaldi

Daniel Rowland and the Stift Festival Orchestra perform a program consisting of Vivaldi and Max Richter in the Sala Sinfónica at the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, ES.

ADAM Quartet plays Haydn’s “Seven last Words of Jesus on the cross”, Pelham Humfrey’s “My lord, my god” and “What is the word” by Barry Guy in a program that circles around one of Samuel Becketts last poems. The program reflects on the relationship between poetry and music, speech and silence.

This concert is a part of the 10th anniversary of The Blue Shroud Band at Manggha Hall, Krakow, PL.

A rose is a rose is a rose

This concert takes its starting point from Schubert’s “Winterreise” and questions past and present gender roles, power dynamics and gives a voice to the silenced.

I’ve drawn inspiration from the words of Eva Illouz, Liv Strömquist and Wilhelm Müller and the concert will consist of music by Franz Schubert, Fanny Mendelssoh-Hensel, Caroline Shaw and Ida Henriette d’Fonseca (who even wrote her own Winterreise-cycle!).
